4. HCR (ORG)—Relating to whether or not municipality and/or county selective regulation of short-term rental properties is violating constitutionally guaranteed private property and contract rights.

5. HCR (ORG) —assessing whether amending the state tax code to provide state tax incentives to off-set federal excise taxes of manufacturing not currently producing in West Virginia would raise the likelihood of new investment in such manufacturing in West Virginia.

6. HCR (ORG)— assessing whether the Code of West Virginia,1931, as amended, contains outdated, excessive, superfluous, dysfunctional or unnecessary provisions which stifle innovation, impede market entry by private entrepreneurs, disincentivize investment and preclude the maximization of the productive potential of free enterprise and, if so, to identify such provisions for repeal by the West Virginia Legislature.

7. HCR (ORG)- commissioning a study to assess whether the construction of welcome centers on the Appalachian Development Highway System would benefit economic development opportunities for tourism in West Virginia

8. HCR (ORG)- commissioning a study to assess whether the creation of regional tourism districts would benefit economic development opportunities for tourism in West Virginia

9. HCR (ORG)- commissioning a study to assess infrastructure and workforce issues and needs among tourism related businesses struggling to recover from pandemic related issues

10. HCR 57—Requesting the Dept. of Economic Development to create a plan of incentives to encourage small businesses in highly regulated states to relocate to West Virginia

11. HCR 59—Requesting the Joint Committee on Government and Finance to study the feasibility of providing seed money to fund a prosed program to establish a motorsport events welcome center and implement a program to promote motorsport events in West Virginia.

12. HCR 60—Requesting the Joint Committee on Government and Finance study the economic and tourism impacts creating a cross state biking and hiking trail.
